Historical note: what I learned in school was that "Anglos" really were a tribe called the "Angles". But when they had their corporate merger, I guess their branding/makeover specialists thought that "Angle-Saxon" didn't convey the image they wanted to project--and just to position themselves where they wanted, they left the "Jutes" out of the new name entirely even though they were part of the partnership.
