a few weeks ago i made the mistake of being a bit sarcastic when the Bingo was being called in my local working mens club. I thought i was whispering to the wife.. but obviously the cider was makeking me talk a bit louder than my ears reckoned..
An old bloke knocking on 70 something just down the table suddenly reared up out of his seat and started glaring and presenting fists to me.. threatening me with words I was too drunk to understand without subtitles..
funnily enough, more often than not.. thats what you old argumentative bugggers seem to be like.
Even on weekday afternoons when you should have no reasonable excuse for being that so nastied up !!!
