Well TheSilentOne and I went to the sing around at the Peter Boat last night. Not a huge crowd, the audience and performer numbers balanced each other I think. Only 6 to 8 singers. Love the lovely couple from Acorn Folk Club. I just checked out the Acorn FC website and found a picture of another catter I met at the Rochester Sweeps. Sue the Borderer. How cool is that?

Derek "Otto" Oliver wearing a very cool flaming shirt and matching hat was last night's organiser. Good music, rousing choruses. Very homely and easy. Well spent evening.

And though I am feeling quite spent, I will try to return this evening. Last year the Saturday sing around brought in more revelers and some booked acts. Hope this year sees the same kind of attendance. Also hope Tony Prior will do the Turtle Unbroken song.
