Hello my friend I'm glad to be
sitting in your company
on a cloudy day with a cup of tea
and a pocket full of questions

I see my face in a photograph
And wonder where all the time has passed
and all the things I forgot to ask
have turned to thoughtful expressions

and that's alright, and that's ok
we can laugh at it any way
when it's rain, rain go away
come again some other day

when I....pull myself together
my heart an my mind are together

It's you and me in a poetry
a rhyme of ancient mystery
movie theater and t.v.
an a shopping list of emotion

singing dirge in a eulogy
to a modern man of philosophy
if we stand high then we can see
beyond their sad confusion

and that's alright, and that's o.k.
we can laugh at it anyway when it's
rain, rain go away
come again some other ay
