Oh, yeah -- I decided to leave the steel pipe. It's an excellent objet d'art representing Post-Modern Deconstructionism. At least until I can figger out how to get it outa there -- my wife wants ALL of it out, including the concrete, but has ruled out explosives. I've got some ideas for this winter, using the freeze-thaw cycle of water.
