You could try the golf club temporary camp site at the top of the hill (past the observatory). It cost us £7 - £8 a night for car, caravan and two adults last year. Although it's a bit far to walk, there's a festival bus that runs until WELL past midnight.

It's certainly my site of preference and I hope to be there again this year.
