We were supposed to be heading to Albany, via Vermont, tomorrow but have had to put that back a week as Kendall is not well enough to travel right now.

The first lot of antibiotics that he was prescribed for the pneumonia and diverticulitis just weren't touching it. We went back to the doctor yesterday - we made an appointment for 2.00pm and then the doctor himself phoned and told him to come in at 12.00. Result - blood tests to check his white count and he has had to have two lots of antibiotics to try and do the job. The threat was that if he didn't improve he might have to go into hospital.

The good news is that his appetite is just coming back, he's eaten more so far today than I think he's had for the past three days in total and that has got to be good news. He's off for a chest x-ray this afternoon and another doctor's appointment on Thursday - his doctor is really keeping an eye on him.
