What I am missing by being in the great NW. But I will be there in spirit as these dear friends celebrate. Small town Ontario! My second son and family celebrate Canada Day in SE Pennsylvania. Their Maple Leaf flag a gift from my U.S. brother, a flag waving American who flew the Maple Leaf whenever I visited - "bringing that cold weather down" with me!

Bobad: be glad you have hard wood of any sort and not the light wood they burn out here. Mind, no minus 40 weather, either.
