Terry, not being Canadian, meself, I'm not up on the geography...so I defer. However I did know someone from PEI, so it came to mind as East. He was quite old when I knew him (in California); he was, he said, RCMP during WWII working his way west and eventually came south. He still had a very military/police bearing even in his mid/late eighties.
