Well, how much do you REALLY like the guy? If you do actually like him, gently correct him (a 2x4 generally works pretty well, or a bullet an inch from his right ear). If you really don't care for him, crabpots need bait. If you don't give a shit one way or the other, agree with him and see if he'll give you money.
