A celebrated,or reviled (depends on your politics) "Old Git" myself,I eschewed Beer ,Ale,and Lager in favour of Apple-based beverages some years ago,and am also partial to The Grape.Sadly,a slight miscalculation as to the strength and potency of Weston's Cider at 8 point- something percent caused me to suffer two non-fatal ( sorry, Richard) but blush-making nautical mishaps at Henley Regatta on Wednesday.Of course,sharing the same genes as Will Fly may well be a causal factor.......
