Sinsull, I can confirm what Kendall said about his statement: "I dont care what they say about you Sinsull, you're ok in my book!" In Maine it really is a term of affection and approval. I use it all the time.

In general I think we have something we cannot fix because there is no way to get at the problem. I don't know who has hurt Rick but it sounds like it was one of those unkindest cuts, i.e., coming from a "friend". Still, Rick, there are others who have been your friends and who are still sticking up for you. I always enjoyed your sense of humor as I lurked through the threads and would hate to see any of the 'catters change their ways because of a disruptive outside influence.

Also, I came out of lurk mode because I wanted to get to know you all and be accepted as part of this community. I'm going to be royally ticked off if it dissolves or changes radically just as I start to get involved.

I think we need to keep our heads and our sense of humor ready at hand. When someone gets hurt by something like this we need to be ready to rally round the injured party.
