Doug... Minnesota is famous for scrupulous honesty in vote counting and independent thinking. They elected Jesse Ventura...and they ELECTED Franken...not by much, but those recounts were done with watchers from both sides looking at every ballot.

Sorta beats some of the old stories about Illinois...or...ummm... Texas.
