Hi Folks,
We've just updated the website for the Berkeley Old Time Music Convention, the 2009 festival will be 5 days long this time -- Wed. Sept. 9 through Sun. Sept. 13. Great lineup including Mike Seeger, Benton Flippen, Elizabeth LaPrelle, the Mostly Mountain Boys (Paul Brown, Terri McMurray, John Schwab) and others too numerous to mention. This festival takes place in venues all over Berkeley and includes concerts, dances, instructional workshops, panel discussions, jamming, the string band contest, an open mic cabaret, special activities for kids and families. We'll also have the Bay Area premiere of "Always Been A Rambler", a full-length documentary about the New Lost City Ramblers!
