This is just so devastating. I am so, so sorry. I always meant to see him, but never got the chance--I don't see how the house concert Bill D mentions could have slipped by me.

Just from his CD's you can tell what a wonderful warmth and richness of soul emanated from him.   His singing "When All Men Sing" with the whole room joining in always seems to embody the timeless best of British folk.
