Real shock - what a loss! I have nothing but wonderful memories of Johnnie - at Chippenham late night in the Cause, or Banbury, so many festivals where his voice lifted everyone else's so joyously in song ...
and the warmth of his greeting - every time. I didn't know Johnnie well, but I knew of him a long time and he was always one of the true heroes for me.

Love and sympathy to Joyce and family, and all the many friends whose lives he so enriched.
