   Frank, that's a harsh indictment of the duly appointed guardians of the gate at the House Office building. She got to be "controversial" for more than her opinions...did you read the long article at Wikipedia?
   Cynthia McKinney walked AROUND tthe security checkpoint, not wearing her ID, and was 'insulted' when she was not immediately recognized. Striking the officer who tried to check her ID is one pretty good form of "throwing a tantrum" in my opinion.
   Espousing 'good causes' is no excuse for being petty & pushy.
