I look at it this way: if you're stupid enough to drive while talking or texting on the phone, or stupid enough to do those things while crossing the road, it would be best if you didn't reproduce. Please have yourself spayed immediately, preferably with a sledge hammer or a chainsaw. I really don't care what happens to YOU, but you might cause others to be in some way disturbed by your passing (EMTs, damage to someone's vehicle, etc.).

(Yeah, I have a cell phone. I've turned OFF the texting ability and if I get a call or must make a call while driving I pull over. It is not difficult to figure out how to do these things.)
