Cutting down the trees by the late Rick Keeling. Written back in the early 70's it is still one of my favourite songs.

They're cutting down the trees down our street,
They're cutting down the Sycamore and the Oak
And Jimmy says they're gonna build a highway,
Like the one he once seen in a book.
