I am against beers being moved to other breweries - they never taste the same cos for one thing, the water's different. Look what happened to Shipstones when Greenall Whitley moved it from the Trent Valley to Lancashire: it was unrecognisable! We used to reckon they drew the water direct from the Trent in its local production days. But when it was right, it was a bloody good pint - with flavour!
...and they had beautiful dray horses too.

I am in a real GOB mood today cos I got my spine x-ray results this morning and they have pushed me into advancing old biddydom - gotta get a bone scan. At least the BP was ok for once.

I need a drink!
