I think,for me anyway, was that there was enough time and space for sponteniety. We (2BS&S)joined up with "Barnacle" in the bandstand and had a "jam" which was great and also drew a crowd, we then moved onto the morgan for the dogwatch which is a "come all ye" if you could get around it was there, I am not sure that if one tried to organise it it would work quite as well
