I have a theory that this thread is in fact the creation of an evil scientist who wants to take over the world and send it back in time. The way it works is that all the Old Gits congregate in one point in space time (cunningly disguised as a 'nice' thread on a folk forum), creating a critical mass of Old Gitness, this then goes into gravitational collapse creating a tear in the space-time continuummything and the universe then implodes drawing the present in through the tear and turning the universe inside out. The virtual 'Old Gits Corner' then expands infinitely to fill the void the implosion formed. See, that's why this thread is a dangerous portal and should definitely be closed forthwith!

Otherwise, mines a stout with port to give it a bit of body...
