No - not at all. Famous Grouse is a blended whisky, and a single measure with Canada Dry is a nice, refreshing drink on a hot day.
On the other hand, single malts such Dalwhinnie, Lagavulin, Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, etc., should be drunk neat, in a brandy glass warming in the hand.
I was referring (hic!) to a single measure in my previous post - not a single malt.
