One drawback with co-codamol is the bunging-up side effect! (Not to mention the chance of addiction, codeine being an opiate...) I used to be a carer, and the chaser for the bedtime drink of choice was often Lactulose, to offset said effects.

(At least I have a pharmacist in the family who reassures me that she "dispenses 'these' all the time"; sometimes adding that all the old bids are on these" Thanks, O fruit of my loins!)

I got me a nice whisky last night, won the quiz, but yet again not the bingo, dammit! There's cash to be won on that.
