Sounds like a good evening - shame about your bingo, though...perhaps next time, eh?

I got some rum looks at first from the Corner at yesterday's session when I insisted on buying my own pint and sipping it until dinner called. However, there were understanding nods when I explained that I had some serious fiddle and guitar practice and related work to do.

One of the problems of a successful Old Gits session and a post-session dinner is that, for some unaccountable reason, I seem disinclined to do anything other than snore in an armchair until bedtime. I can't think why. Anyway, I had a will of iron in the Corner - which is about all I had... the willy of iron being a thing of the past... (Good Lord, did I really type that?)
