Aunt Mary's Bottom is a small copse of trees on a blind, right angled bend, which was notorious for vehicles coming off it at high speed and ending up in the front yard of the farm next to it. One Saturday night the farmer left his tractor out across the gateway, and found two cars and a motorcyclist under it the next day..... Never did find the motorcycle..... The bend is called the Monkey's Jump, although I suspect it was something else before that.......

I bet the guy who named Firey Gizzard had either a) an ulcer or b) a grade II listed hangover with rumble bum, throat burn and bile breath..... Could be worse though, it could have been called Flaming Ring.....
