I was led astray earlier by racist discussion. There is absolutely no racist element to being anti-immigration. As it happens I am very pro immigration but I understand and respect the views of the anti-immigration lobby, many of whom are of ethnic minority background anyway. I understand the fears of those worried about losing their jobs living where I do in Hull and in the current economic climate.
Just looking at it from the Poles' point of view, there are only a limited number of jobs for them. If too many come across it makes it more difficult for those already here to get a job.
