I tried, I tried, I tried, Mom knows,
But I timed out continuously.
I tried in rains and mountain snows,
Timed out! Time out! said the MC.

And so I trundled off to lunch
Resolving upon my return
To try again, to try to a bunch
'Til the "Time Out!" tide did turn.

So here I am, all fresh and sweet
Like any fair mountain boy
I've even washed my hands and feet
And I'm Mom's pride and joy.
