I have been taking capsules called Epanutin for 45 years. Since the law changed requiring prescriptions to be generic they are called phenytoin sodium capsules. They are still the same tablets because there is no generic substitute. Hospitals only stock generics, so I was given the same dosage in tablet form. Luckily I do not suffer from seizures these days and it made no difference. Your son's case is evidently different and I will gladly sign the petition
