I met my wife at the Sacramento Song Circle. What's nice about folk music gatherings, is that people go to them for the music. Finding a "soul mate" at a folk gathering is an extra benefit. Somehow, that works better than going somewhere strictly to find a mate. The best encounters are chance, not deliberate.
