Your best bet is to get your local blacksmith to knock you one up.
It needs to be about 9inches per side and beater made of the same rodding, and about the same length.
Curly ends not needed. That was merely an added bonus done by M. Montoucet when he made his, which are still the most popular in Louisiana.
I have three of his t'fer, plus one I "broke" that is now both worthless and priceless at the same time :-)
