I've been thinking of getting my local blacksmith to make a traingle or two (lucky enough to still have a forge in the village). Two technical questions for those that might know:

1. Is there a recommended thickness for the iron rod used in the triangle making?

2. Is it possible to tune the triangle during the making? Many Cajun boxes are in keys like C, G, D, etc. - and it might be more harmonious to get a triangle that's in the range.
