Hey Patrish it does get better
My mother died two days before my birthday which was also nine days before Christmas Day. For several years after that Christmas and Birthdays were never the same. Eight years on it is not so traumatic, the loss is still there but its easier to remember the good times now.
I will leave some money with Linda to buy you a stiff drink next time you are at the Harlequin
