Thread Name: BS: Folk Against Facism - Part II
Subject: RE: BS: Folk Against Facism - Part II
"Lizzie, you started the thread titled So why has the BNP gained votes?, so the previous "Folk Against Fascism" thread was closed. I have now also closed the "gained votes" thread. I allowed the Anti BNP protest thread because it is an announcement of an event - but that makes two BNP threads, and that's enough for a folk music forum. I realize that this is a popular and important topic, but two threads are enough. If you can't live with that, we'll ban the subject completely. Say whatever you want, but keep it confined to one thread, with reasonable exceptions granted for event announcements. -Joe Offer, Forum Moderator-"
One had *nothing* to do with the other, Joe....and well you know it.
So, are you now going to start banning the 'what is folk music/does it exist etc.etc.etc...' threads, ad infinitum?
ALL these threads are in the non-folk part of this forum, although WHY the FAF thread is down in BS I've not a clue, because it's the musicians who are at the forefront of changing this around, with their songs and their committment to NOT let their music, or their heritage, be taken away from them.
But hey, YOU are the Moderator and have Ultimate Power. so Power Away.
