I suspect the only people who actually like Generations are those who never tried anything else.

When you can get a Sweetone for a couple of quid more, why on earth would you bother with them?

The first statement is a pretty silly presumption. Generations are what they are and they are generally serviceable whistles, the nice ones capable of performing as well as a heavily over-priced make like for example a Burke.

I have a deep dislike for Sweetones, cheap and prone to rust and their C version the worst tuned whistle I have ever had the misfortune of buying.

No accounting for taste, is there?
