I have tried most of them , and tend to use Tony Dixon more than any other !
Got a full Set of Chieftens , which are good , but too loud if I am backing one singer acoustically
The Shaws are OK , but seem to take a lot of air
Best D otther than T Dixon is a James Galway Autograph that I got out of a box of rejects - I goot FIVE for £5 and sold three for £2 each !
They originally sold for £8 with an instruction book
IF I am doing a workshop . I ALWAYS use Generation mainly for the rason Leenie mentioned ! Its EASY to play a £100 whistle !
