Our ice cream van used to play "O Sole Mio" .
It amused my kids to hear these words sung in a very operatic Italian style. Amuses me still.


"I'ma Pavarotti, the ice-a cream man,
I'm stuck for ever eensida thees van,
I can't squeeze out through the door,
And so I'll stay here , for e-e-ver mo-o-o-o-ore !"
