Of course Humphrey is a B*st*rd of the highest degree and a crazy one at that but the real villain of the peace here is the stupid PRS/PPL licence!   It's just another income earner by the government,like speed cameras,it's a back-door tax on the nation so the government can cream in millions and then waste it on quangos,bureaucracy,asylum seekers and MPs expenses.

What gets me is how many breweries and publicans just bent over and accepted it and did'nt put two fingers up to the government and carry on regardless. We're such a wuss nation. We're always getting shafted and allow ourselves to be walked all over.

And when he does die will Sam Smiths Brewery continue to ban any entertainments or will they relent completely and go back to the good old days? What do you think?
