As you may have heard, Europe voted to ban seal products due to
tens of thousands of letters asking them to do so.
The Canadian government is trying to appeal this decision.
A University of Guelph (Ontario) professor says that it won't hurt
Canada's economy; yet many communities especially in Nunavut and
Newfoundland who depend on the seal hunt will be left out of work.
