Some Catters will have already seen from the Bull Bay festival thread that Vicki Williams is quite poorly at the moment and is unable to perform there this weekend. She is one of my dearest friends, pretty much a Sister really and I know that there are many other UK Folkies who would like to send good wishes to her.

Vicki doesn't often post here but her MudCat name is Buddug and she (and lovely husband Trefor) are very well-known on the UK folk music scene and are regulars at many UK festivals, their website is here!

Without going into too much detail (though she's given me her permission to post this) she'll be starting chemo tomorrow after recovering from pneumonia and pleurisy and is sounding very positive about it. Her medical team are very impressed with her physical strength at this time which is a very good sign! I know the power of the MudCat positive thought machine and I'm certain that she will appreciate good thoughts and blessings towards North Wales for her.

I have a candle lit tonight and am sending love and hugs for Vicki and for Trefor too.
