Valmai - the Middle Earth is a pub near the river which in folk week is full of short people with long hair and beards, quaffing copious quantities of ale from metal tankards. These are believed to be Dwarves...

Not sure what beer it sells these days. It originally sold Theakston's Old Peculier (it may still do) and after a few pints of that, you saw elves, trolls and dragons. Close your eyes for a second and the people around you would have magically disappeared, and your watch would tell you a time hours later.
