I suspect you're right Shambles, but then doesn't that sum up the whole Mrs Casey set up. I love Sidmouth but I constantly get the feeling I am being ripped off (not by the locals, who would have every reason to do so) but by the people who supposedly "saved" the festival. but then they probably rely on the fact that people like us will go there anyway so they can do what they like. I get most of my enjoyment not from the big featured artists but fron the smaller fringe events. in fact this year we havn't even splashed out the ?£120 for tickets because there isn't enough on the main programme that I would want to go to in order to my money's worth. Having said all that however it is still a wonderful week and I am really looking forward to it, even if it is just to meet up with old (and new ) friends that we only see once a year. This wasn't meant to be a negative political rant but it is two in the morning and I've got insomnia.
