I can only say that I am ashamed that the US Government pressed both this system of extradition and that the US Courts will be so unsympathetic (and I know they will be) towards this young man.

There are hundreds, (thousands) in US corrections (I use the term loosely) institutions because there is no care or responsibility taken for people with mental disability accept in the most extraordinary/ extreme cases. And that determination of mental liability is a State by State decision.

Disgusting.

Is there a petition for going in this young man's favour? Or better, one to get the UK to rethink its extradition agreement with the US?
