A great folk/blues guitar and banjo picker is playing the Green Note in Camden on August 14th. Serious Sam Barrett is a young man from Leeds who plays mainly old-time american material, tho he occasionally delves into some UK and Irish songs too.

I rate him really highly and urge you Londoners out there to attend. It's his debut album launch gig, and the Green Note's a nice cosy venue anyway.
