Okay, I've think we've got it. Had to save the recording to the "Windows Movie" program, make it into a "movie", save it, copy(?) the "movie" onto the "storyboard", "publish" the movie (i.e., save it somewhere outside of "Windows Movie" in the form of a file compatible with youtube - we used .wmv), then upload the file to youtube .... It's a fairly quick and easy process - but, as with so many computer/internet activities, those brilliant technicians in control have made it almost impossible for ordinary mortals (note: that excludes teenagers) to discover. It feels like a great spiritual quest: on the basis of a few obscure hints and riddles, you must work your way through a series of trials that test your mettle; if you succeed, some simple truth that was under your nose the whole time will be revealed.
Having said that - my clip hasn't shown up yet in a youtube search ....
