Good music is good music. Work iindeed was a staunch abolitionist but what may not have been perjorative in 1860 certainly may be today. I do hope (and believe) all of us at mudcat realize that and sensible caution should be used. Of course some will be offended no matter what we do. Marching through Georgia by George Root, Kemo Kimo and several of Stephen C. Foster's songs use the term darkie.
