"Green cars"
Turn in that old clunker that does 16 miles per. Get a new super green that does 22.
That new one has 2500 pounds or so of newly manufactured parts which took a lot of energy to produce. Put $10,000 or so of your cash on top.
The old one may have needed some work, but not $10,000 worth.

Something doesn't add up here. Perhaps good for the car producer and dealer, but overall doesn't help the environment.
