Hi Jennie - suggest you check out "http://kiwifolk.org.nz/" (sorry - too challenged at present to do a clicky thing for you!). This site will give you the flavour of what's about in NZ. As individuals may not have provided up to date info about gigs etc, I suggest you also post on the NZ folk community email group - "nz-folk@lists.earthlight.co.nz" like most folk communities, I know you'll find them a helpful and friendly group.
