We've been lucky with rain this year. It is the greenest, most humid summer I remember in all my life. The normally dry August tinder is not crispy. We do have pines dying from mountain pine beetle, so that adds to the fuel, but this year we've had rain, rain, rain and the lightning hasn't caused anything uncontrollable so far. Quite unusual.
