In 1978, I went on a road trip in a 1949 straight eight Buick Super Dynaflow (Blue). From Montana down to Mexico, along the west coast of Mexico and then into Mexico City, down through Oaxaca, the Isthmus, Guatemala, and then El Salvador. That took one month. Then I lived on the coast of El Salvador for two months in an area called Sihuapilapa. Returning through Guatemala to Tikal, then Belize, around the Yucatan to Merida and Chichen Itaza, to Palenque and Veracruz, the east coasts, back across to Mexico City, and to the west coast again, up through Nogales and north to Montana. That's my Buick story. This isn't the same car, but this is a '49 Buick Super Dynaflow.
